The Cumberland FA have launched the Toilet Roll Cup as part of the #StayAtHomeChallenge
With County Cup competitions suspended and current social distancing guidelines in place, the association wanted to bring everyone from across Cumberland together (online), including clubs and match officials.
It’s simple – the person who can make the most Kick Ups with a full toilet roll will win the competition with a prize.
There are three competition categories – the Under 18 Toilet Roll Cup, Over 18 Toilet Roll Cup and the Get Creative Toilet Roll Cup.
In the Under 18 category the winner will be the one with the most kick ups in one go. U18s must have permission from a parent/carer to post a video.
The Over 18 Toilet Roll Cup winner will be the individual with the most kick ups in one go.
The Get Creative Toilet Roll Cup is a ‘freestyle’ competition where footie fans are encouraged to “be different and have style!” The top three entries (chosen by the CFA Keepy Ups Panel) will go to a public vote following the closing date of the competition.
The competitions are open now and close for entries at 11:59pm on Sunday 5th April, 2020.
To register you must send a video of you doing the Kick Ups and tag @CumberlandFA on Twitter or Facebook and the football club you are associated with. For it to be a valid attempt (if your club isn’t on Twitter or Facebook please name them) using the hashtags #CumberlandKeepyUps #StayAtHomeChallenge. Match officials must tag @Cumberland FA on Twitter or Facebook using the above hashtags.
