As the Coronavirus continues to impact people and business across the UK and globally, we hope that you, your family, friends and colleagues are safe and well.
After 124 years of continuous weekly publication of The Keswick Reminder in print format, we are following the UK Government advice regarding COVID-19 and temporarily suspending the publication of the printed format of our newspaper after this week Friday 27 March.
From this week we will be publishing local news online for the first time via our website – keswickreminder.co.uk. This will enable us to continue providing vital information from a number of agencies regarding COVID-19 which is essential, but also to publish positive and inspiring news stories and photographs from people in the community. Please continue to send news stories to [email protected].
The Keswick Reminder website has been built by Matthew and Jonathan Branthwaite from Slug & Bull – and we thank them for designing and advising us in the speedy production of the website to enable us to continue publishing The Keswick Reminder.
We ask people to adhere to Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s announcement for everyone to: stay at home, and only going out to shop for basic necessities as infrequently as possible and take one form of exercise a day, alone or with members of their household to protect our brave and committed NHS workers.
Please stay safe, and be well.
