A major Cumbrian drink supplier to the hospitality industry is opening its doors to the general public as it launches a new ‘click and collect’ service.
The Grapevine part of Caterite Food and Wineservice Ltd has launched the click and collect service from its site in Threlkeld in response to a customer satisfaction survey and more than 14,000 account requests from Caterite’s click and collect service, which launched six weeks ago.
Grapevine is based in Threlkeld and stocks a huge range of alcohol lines including a portfolio of 700 wines, 500 spirits, 100 beers and lagers, 35 ciders, 20 ready-made cocktails, and 150 soft drinks all available to order for next-day collection in five simple steps.
The new Grapevine service will follow the same five-step order process as Caterite’s, including registering an online account, which is activated allowing people to place an order and pay online. Collection days and times can also be selected online at the checkout stage. A member of the Grapevine team will deliver the goods to the customer’s vehicle when they arrive with zero physical interaction.
