A popular Portinscale café, which was forced to close after a senior member of staff tested positive for coronavirus, is set to reopen at 9am on Saturday.
The Lingholm Kitchen, on the shores of Derwentwater, closed its doors to the public last Friday for safety reasons.
A statement on the café’s Facebook page said that no other staff members were showing symptoms.
It said: “However, we think it is best to be over cautious and put the well-being of our staff and potential customers first so will remain closed until we assess the situation and make sure we are a safe environment to visit.
“Times like this make us realise how the health and well-being of everyone is so important; so be safe and listen to the guidelines and support your local businesses as this winter is going to be a bumpy ride.”
