Traders have been told today that Keswick’s popular Thursday and Saturday markets are set to return next week.
Following the announcements by central government yesterday, Phil Byers, markets manager for Allerdale Borough Council, has confirmed that they will be reopening Keswick Market on Thursday, 3rd December, followed by Saturday, 5th December.
The decision was taken to cancel the market during the November national lockdown which was imposed to try and slow the second wave spread of coronavirus.
