A plea has gone out to ask people to stop feeding horses in a field in the town because it is making them ill.
One of the owners of the horses in the field at Greta Bank Stables on Brundholme Road, has got in touch with the Keswick Reminder to ask if people could stop as it is causing issues for the animals.
She said: “It is causing problems as the feeding is making the horses fight plus some are on special diets, so this extra food could make them ill.
“I realise people are trying to be kind, but it causing more problems for us. Please stop.”
