One flood warning and an alert are in force in the Keswick area as heavy rain continues to batter the county.
A flood warning – the second most severe warning issued by the Environment Agency – is in force at Keswick Campsite.
It states: “The level of Derwentwater remains high following several days of rain. Further heavy rain is forecast on Tuesday which will cause the water level to rise again. “Avoid using low-lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses, do not attempt to walk or drive through floodwater. This flood warning is expected to remain in place for several days.”
