Members of the Fitz Park, Hope Park and Townsfield Charitable Trusts to increase the cost of parking at the Crosthwaite Road car park from April.
It was agreed that the cost be increased from £3 a day to £4 for cars, and £8 for campervans and caravans. The price of annual and monthly permits are to remain the same.
It is hoped a banner will emphasise that funds from the car park go towards the cost of maintaining Fitz Park.
