The body of a man has been recovered from Ullswater.
Police said the body had been found late yesterday afternoon, Thursday, August 11.
Search teams have been in the area since Sunday, after a paddleboarder went missing while out on the lake.
The teams were deployed after the man, in his mid-20s and from the Rochdale area, was reported to have got into difficulties and was unaccounted for.
The incident occurred at around 1.10pm on Sunday, in the vicinity of Aira Point, near the ferry stop.
The family of the missing man have been made aware of developments in the search. However, formal identification has yet to take place.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
