Keswick PCSO Megan Jones has been working to reduce the risk of anti-social behaviour in the town.
It follows an approach made to her about nuisance youths and littering in the Rawnsley Centre estate.
She has worked with Keswick Ministries to identify key problem areas and action has been taken to reduce the risk of further anti-social behaviour where possible.
Further preventative measures such as increased lighting and CCTV are expected to be put in place in the near future.
Regular patrols will continue to be conducted and any members of the public witnessing any ASB are encouraged to call in on 101 or 999 if a crime is taking place.
PCSO Jones is also making regular patrols of Fitz Park and talking to youngsters about anti-social behaviour issues after receiving reports of misbehaviour in the area.
She has also issued street safe surveys in the area of Keswick’s Tithebarn Street following a reported neighbourhood dispute.
The surveys are an opportunity for residents to raise any concerns or observations that are impacting on the area for the police and their partners to look into. The neighbourhood dispute issue has been addressed and dealt with.
