Whinlatter’s Cottage in the Wood will be closed until at least Wednesday after its water supply failed.
The Michelin starred restaurant with rooms, near Keswick, posted on Facebook: “Unfortunately we’re dealing with a bit of a crisis this morning. Our water supply has failed.
“We are working on it, but next Wednesday will be the earliest we can reopen. We have notified our residents and are now reaching out to our restaurant guests. We appreciate the understanding and cooperation of all our wonderful customers, and we are busy contacting and rescheduling bookings.”
