A Keswick pub has reopened with a new look and a new name following a major revamp.
The Lion, on Main Street, has undergone a six-figure refurbishment and reopened as The Golden Lion.
Run by chain Greene King, new signs and a new interior have been introduced.
The exterior has also been updated, with new paintwork and signage to the front and side. The pub will also offer outdoor seating for up to 24 people every day excluding market days Thursday and Saturday.
Dylan McKenzie, general manager of the Golden Lion, said: “It’s been fantastic to see the Golden Lion being restored to its former glory, and we are so excited to open our doors and start welcoming back guests.
“We’ll be having regular live music on weekends, and with a new food and cocktail menu there’s something for everyone, whether you’re a local or just visiting.”
The investment also sees the introduction of a new food menu.
