Whinlatter’s Cottage in the Wood is preparing to reopen next week after a water issue forced the restaurant to close.
The Michelin starred restaurant with rooms had to close on February 3 when its water supply failed.
A statement on its Facebook page today, Saturday February 11, said: “After a frantic week we’re connected up with an emergency supply and preparing to reopen on Wednesday.
“Thanks to a hard working team from Charlton Drainage, and the support and patience of our guests. Also a big thank you to our fantastic team for ‘mucking in’ wherever necessary. Looking forward to welcoming you all to The Cottage soon.”
