Vandals have defaced a mural of the late Queen which had been painted in a Keswick alleyway.
The artwork by Paul Wilmott, which included one of her corgis, had been unveiled in November by Keswick mayor Cllr Steve Harwood.
Paul completed the work in an alleyway opposite the Alhambra Cinema over a period of three weeks, working on it for two hours a day, equating to around 30 hours.
