A Keswick couple, who met at a bar in the town and now run their own business, have married.
Genna Forsyth, 29, and Adam Slaughter, 30, of The Square Orange Cafe on St John’s Street, tied the knot at Three Hills Barn, Torpenhow, Wigton, surrounded by 140 friends and family.
They met seven years ago, fell in love, bought the business and have never looked back.
Genna is the daughter of Gayle and Mark Forsyth, of Keswick, while Adam, originally from Cramlington, Northumberland, holidayed in Keswick before making the move here. He is the son of Kathryn and Darren Slaughter, and his best men were Chris Muter, Bastian White and Lee Brennan.
Bridesmaids were Holly Wilson, Kayleigh Furness, Gracie Wilson and Jessica Marsden.
Because of being busy with the business, the happy couple had a short “mini-moon” in Windermere but are planning a trip to the Maldives in January.
