Emergency temporary parking restrictions have been put in place at various points along the U2220 at Stonethwaite due to the likelihood of danger to the public as a result of inconsiderate parking causing obstructions to the general public, bus services and emergency service vehicles.
This notice will be in force for a period of 21 days from July 27, as and when the relevant signs are displayed. It is likely that after this time Cumberland Council will follow up with a temporary 18-month order.
