A temporary road closure is to be put in place on the U2232 Castlerigg, Keswick, to allow Open Reach to carry out utility works.
The closure will be put in place for two days from August 17 at a point approximately 470 metres south of the junction with the A591 Castlerigg Brow, extending in a southerly direction for approx 130 metres.
There is no suitable alternative route available for vehicles. A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.
