A Keswick-based business has launched a set of exciting indoor adventure activities from its new venue in the heart of the town.
Keswick Adventures has been running outdoor activities around the northern Lake District since 2016 and has expanded to larger premises at The Pencil Factory in the town.
As part of the move, it has been able to add indoor activities to its list of adrenaline-fuelled adventures.
“We don’t mind getting outside when it’s cold, pouring down, or too hot, but we know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea,” said director Lee Simpson. “Keswick is an amazing location for outdoor activities, but there’s not loads available if you want to do something active indoors.
“So we thought we’d fix that, and are now offering indoor archery, tag archery – which is like paint ball but with specially designed arrows – and axe throwing.”
Lee hopes that it will give visitors and locals the opportunity to stay dry but still burn off some energy.
The award-winning company is also seeing lots of interest from local businesses looking for team building activities or something different for their Christmas parties.
“It’s the perfect Christmas party idea,” said Lee. “Spend an hour and a half shooting your colleagues in tag archery, then head to the pub or a restaurant to make up!”
The new indoor activities are available to book now at an introductory discounted rate for locals.
