Is this the work of the Borrowdale Banksy?

Keswick photographer Neil Pritt sent this picture to the Reminder following a walk from Seatoller to Grange and he simply asks: Is this a Borrowdale Banksy?

If it is, then the spiral creation is a departure from their previous circle sculptures built into dry-stone walls.

The intricate stone circles that first appeared on the north Lakeland fells during the Covid lockdowns made headlines around the world. 

The identity of the artist remains a mystery, although the complex nature of the designs and the skill required to create them suggest he or she is a professional – or a waller with a creative flair.
