Firefighters tackled a serious blaze in a barn in Portinscale on Friday.
Keswick Fire Station along with teams from Cockermouth and Penrith as well as Penrith’s water bowser were called out just after 10pm to a fire in a barn on How Lane.
The barn had cars, a quad bike and large quantities of wood inside it.
Crews worked hard for several hours to extinguish the fire and stop it from spreading to adjoining properties – but were not able to save the contents of then barn.
The incident ended at around 3am.
