Two areas of Keswick are to be affected by temporary road closures starting on March 11.
Cumberland Council will be closing Station Road, from its junction with Brundholme Road, extending in a south-westerly direction for approximately 150m, for two days to allow highway works to be carried out.
There will be an alternative route via the unrestricted section of Station Road, A5271, High Hill, Crosthwaite Road and Brundholme Road and a way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.
The other road closure on Springs Road, from its junction with Springs Garth, extending in a south-easterly direction for approximately 290 metres, is to allow Fibrus to carry out utility works.
There is no suitable alternative route for vehicles. A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained.
