A Keswick enterprise which encourages people to step outside of their comfort zone and try new adventures is celebrating 10 years in business.
Keswick Extreme, based at a unit in the town’s Southey Hill Industrial Estate, offers activities from ghyll scrambling and monster paddle boarding to river tubing.
“We’re passionate about getting people outside and stepping out of their comfort zones in complete safety with our experienced guides; this is what motivates us, we love to see peoples surprise as they do something different and find out how much they enjoy it,” said director Sean O’Rourke.
“In an age where mobile phones are taking over our lives, there’s no better time to be taking the plunge with exhilarating outdoor activities.”
Safety is a top priority for Keswick Extreme whose directors, Sean and Jason O’Rourke, have been in the outdoor industry for more than 30 years.
Keswick Extreme also has purpose-built changing rooms with toilet and bag storage at their adventure base.
Clients are transported to activities in Keswick Extreme’s vehicles and it also teams up with other businesses in the town and there has been great interest in Ghyll and Fill, where hungry adventurers receive a discounted lunch from the Filling Station café.
