Part of Helvellyn Street in Keswick is to be closed for two days this week to allow Cumberland Council to carry out highway works,
The temporary road closure is to come into effect on Thursday May 9 from the street’s junction with Greta Street, extending in north-east for a distance of 42 metres
An alternative route will be put in place via Wordsworth Street, Blencathra Street and Greta Street and a way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.
