A temporary road closure is to be put in place on Vicarage Hill to allow Fibrus to carry out utility work which is expected to start on July 2.
The road will be closed from its junction with Church Lane to its junction with the A5271 Crosthwaite Road and the works are expected to take five days to complete.
A suitable alternative route for vehicles will be signed and available via the A5271, B5289 Crosthwaite and High Hill and a way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.
