Staff at the Threlkeld Quarry and Mining Museum are gearing up for its annual steam gala which takes place this weekend.
There will be four visiting locomotives joining the museum’s resident engine Sir Tom.
They are Isabel – Amerton Railway; Sybil – West Lancashire Light Railway; Peter – Amberley Museum and Sybil Mary from the Statfold Narrow Gauge Museum Trust.
There will be a frequent train service on Saturday and Sunday with trains running from 10am.
Light refreshments will be available over the weekend with any proceeds going to the Friends of Keswick Hospital. Tickets are available on the day.
