A Keswick man has appeared in court, charged with child sex offences which happened in the 1970s.
Keith Taylor pleaded not guilty to the four charges when he appeared at the magistrates court in Workington.
He is charged with two indecent assaults on a boy under 14, an act of gross indecency with a boy under 16 and a serious sexual offence against a boy under 16.
It is understood the offences are alleged to have involved two victims.
Taylor, 65, of Greta Gardens, was granted unconditional bail and is due to appear at Carlisle Crown Court next month.
