A man died while out on a Lake District walk over the weekend.
The man was in a walking group on Saturday and suffered chest pains near the summit of Ullock Pike.
Keswick Mountain Rescue Team was called and the Great North Air Ambulance deployed at around 11.50am.
Keswick Mountain Rescue Team said: “Adverse weather conditions meant that the helicopter had to stand down.
“As Keswick team arrived the man was found to be unresponsive. CPR was immediately commenced but sadly and despite best efforts the man could not be saved.
“Our thoughts and condolences go to the man’s family and friends.”
