Duncan and Yvonne Booth, who have dedicated their lives to help raise money for the MS (Multiple Sclerosis) Society, will be switching on Keswick’s Christmas lights on Friday November 15.
The pair, who organise the popular 10 in 10 mountain event, will turn on the lights at 7pm. During the lead up to the festivities there will be a Christmas food and gift fair from 10am.
At 4.45pm the St Herbert’s School Choir will perform in Packhorse Court and at 5.15pm there will be a visit from Peter Rabbit. From 6pm in the Market Square, Local Vocals will perform ahead of the evening’s main event.
Organisers say it is likely to be busy in town and it is suggested that attendees leave their dogs at home.
