People are urged not to be alarmed today as emergency services carry out a training exercise in Keswick.
Police, the fire service and staff from other responding agencies will be in the area of the pencil museum today, Wednesday February 12.
Cumbria police said: “Residents are advised to not be alarmed by the increased police presence in the area and can continue to carry on with their day as they intended.”
