A man who has become well-known in Keswick for organising his popular festive hikes has got his teeth into a new charity venture.
Jay Mistry is planning a walk with a difference in the town on Sunday April 6 with the majority of participants wearing inflatable dinosaur suits.
The T-rex attired trekkers will meet at Keswick’s Moot Hall at 10am for a flat, five kilometre walk around Fitz Park, Crow Park and on to Friars Crag and back. Not all will be dressed as dinosaurs as some other inflatable animals will be joining in.
The event has been organised to raise funds for The Christie Charity and for mountain rescue. Jay, who organised three festive hikes around Keswick in December, can be contacted via his Facebook page.
