Vandals have once again been at work in Keswick’s Fitz Park over the Easter weekend.
Wreckers have uprooted one tree while a second has been stripped of its bark.
Keswick town council clerk Vivien Little said that a witness saw a child jumping on the uprooted tree and was determined to break it.
The matter has been reported to the police.
