A temporary 30mph speed restriction is to be put in place on the A591 to allow GDB Civils Ltd to carry out highway work which is expected to start on June 5 and take around 12 months to complete.
The restriction will be from the southern junction with Lonsties and Castlerigg Brow, extending along Castlerigg Brown and Nest Brow, for approximately 1.67km.
