Keswick Mountain Rescue Team was called out after a man began to experience chest pains while out walking.
The 60-year-old man was walking with a group near Seatoller yesterday, January 22, when he began to feel unwell.
The volunteer team and Great North Air Ambulance were called at around 11.15am.
After being assessed by team doctors the man was able to be walked off the hill and down to the waiting ambulance.
The man was further assessed by the ambulance crew and discharged at the scene without needing further hospital treatment.
Eighteen team members were involved and the call took two hours and 25 minutes.
