A Lake District distillery has opened a new shop.
Herdwick Distillery, part of Lakeland Artisan, launched in summer 2021. Now Geoff and Mary Monkman, who run the company, said following a successful first year, they decided to open a dedicated shop in Keswick.
Herdwick Distillery and Friends, on Lake Road, opened its doors on Friday and showcases the distillery’s full range, plus a selection of local small-batch gins, vodka, rums and whiskies.
Geoff, managing director said, “It’s very exciting to finally open a shop that is exclusively dedicated to spirits not only by Herdwick Distillery but supporting a wide selection of distilleries from our region and beyond.”
