COCKBAIN. — Catherine. Died peacefully, in the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle, on Tuesday, 10th January, wife of the late John Cockbain, mother of William and Mark, grandmother and great-grandmother. Aged 90 years. The funeral service will take place at St Mary’s Church, Threlkeld, on Wednesday, 1st February at 2pm. McTEAR. — Judith Mary. Peacefully, at Eden Valley Hospice, on Friday, 13th January, 2023, Judith, of Cragg View, Bewaldeth, much loved wife of the late Les, loving mam of Anna, John and Andrew, devoted grandma of Elsa, dear daughter of the late George and Hilda, a caring sister-in-law, auntie and cousin. Judith will be sadly missed by all other family and friends. Aged 69 years. Funeral service and interment at St. Michael and All Angels Church, Torpenhow, on Monday, 30th January, at 11am. PEPPER. — Peacefully, at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle, on Monday, 16th January, Annie, of Keswick, dearly loved wife of the late Tom, much loved mam of Frank and Keith (Joe), mother-in-law of Sal, treasured grandma of Chris, Ben and Katie and a dear sister of Nellie and Grace. Aged 84 years. Funeral service at Eden Valley Crematorium, on Friday, 27th January, at 11am.
