Keswick schools to be affected by teacher strike

Strike action by teachers in the NEU union is set to close Calthwaite School on Tuesday, February 28.

The school is due to reopen on March 1, Cumbria County Council has confirmed.

Also partially closed by industrial action on the same day will be St Herbert’s Primary and Nursery School, Keswick.

Closed will be Bleaberry (Y3/4), Fleetwith Pike (Y3/4) and Helvellyn (Y5/6) classes.
