Walkers have been left outraged over the bank holiday weekend as camping gear and a barbecue were abandoned at a Lake District beauty spot.
People camped on Buttermere Moss and then walked off, abandoning all their kit for someone else to clean up after them.
Rubbish included a cool box, food waste and plastic bottles.
Ed Newcome, who came across the site while out on a walk, said: “It’s disappointing there are people around with such massive disrespect.”
