Roadworks – expected to take up to 26 days – are due to start next month on the A591.
A temporary road closure will be put in place on October 2 to allow Cumberland Council Highways Service to carry out improvements near Keswick at
its junction with the U2120 Bassenthwaite, to its junction with the A66.
A diversion for vehicles will be signed and available via the unrestricted section of the A591, A595 Bothel to Cockermouth and A66 Cockermouth to Keswick.
