A temporary road closure is to be put in place on Greta Street, Keswick, to allow Cumberland Council Highways Service to carry out work which is expected to start on November 6 and take a week to complete.
The road will be closed from its junction with the A5271 Penrith Road to its junction with Blencathra Street.
An alternative route is via the unrestricted section of Greta Street, Helvellyn Street, Wordsworth Street and A5271 Penrith Road. A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.
