A runner has died after suffering a heart attack near Derwentwater.
Keswick Mountain Rescue team were called out to the incident on Monday, which happened in Lingholm Woods near Derwentwater’s shoreline at around noon.
A Helimed58 was also called, alongside ambulance and police.
Rescue teams said despite best efforts, the man could not be saved.
Keswick Mountain Rescue Team said: “Our thoughts and condolences are with the man’s family and friends.”
