Utility work is to be carried out by Fibrus on Whinlatter Pass resulting in a temporary road closure being put in place on October 30.
It is expected to take four days to complete and the B5292 will be shut from Braithwaite.
A section of the B5292 will also be closed between the village and Brows Wood for Openreach works from November 6-7.
