Following a suspension for lorries, buses and trailers, car owners are also being granted a six-month MOT exemption from the 30th March amidst the coronavirus pandemic.
Vehicles will be automatically be given a six-month MOT exemption from the date their first MOT was due. To check a vehicle’s MOT history visit the .gov website to see when the exemption has been issued.
The website will not be updated straight away, so keep checking back if a new due date MOT is not yet showing.
