The ladies at Keswick Golf Club are enjoying a successful season, with vice-captain Jill Kelso the star player.
She is on top form and playing consistently, with her accurate pitching and putting the envy of other players.
She has won seven of the last 10 competitions and has dropped her handicap to 21 in the process.
After four sessions with advanced golf professional Bev New, many of the players have improved their game, and the ladies’ section managed to retain the coveted annual cup they play for against the club’s Fellmen contingent by the narrowest of margins of just two points.
