Kendal Calling organisers have not yet made a decision about this year’s event.
It follows Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s announcement on Monday that coronavirus restrictions would be extended for another four weeks.
The team behind Kendal Calling said they were in talks to see how the extension could effect the music festival, which is due to take place between July 29 and August 1 at Lowther Deer Park, near Penrith.
A spokesman said: “We’re hard at work behind the scenes on this year’s festival to see what this latest update from the Government means for us.
“Rest assured, as soon as we know what the score is for Kendal Calling 2021, we will let you guys know.”
