The deadline to contribute good quality pre-loved toys and books as gifts to children who can use them afresh is Saturday.
The Toys for Christmas initiative, being organised by Churches Together in Keswick, aims to bring a little joy to children, aged 0-10 years of age, whose families have been financially affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
The last date for people to drop off items at Crosthwaite Parish Room, next to the Co-op store in Main Street, is Saturday 5th December, 1.30pm to 4.30pm.
Families will then have the opportunity to choose toys and books for their children at the Giving of Gifts day next Saturday, 12th December at the parish room, from 10am to 3pm.
