The sports pavilion in Keswick’s Fitz Park now has a gleaming new public clock on the front of it.
The clock, bearing the Keswick Cricket Club crest, is in memory of local character Tony “Boco” Barnes.
Tony’s son Paul, an ex-opening batsman for Keswick, and grandson Ned, who plays for the club, came to the ground before Saturday’s match to declare the new clock “open.”
