Organisers of Keswick Show have announced that the annual event will not be taking place again this year due to COVID-19.
A spokesman said that following the Government announcement that the easing of restrictions had been put back to July 19 the risks remain high and the the financial implications of going ahead and then having to cancel at a later date could possibly mean there were in sufficient funds to hold a show in the future.
Next year’s show will be held on August 29.
