Demand for a copy of Prince Harry’s book Spare has not been great in Keswick – with Bookends selling just two pre-ordered copies on the day of its release.
A shop spokesperson said that they had got a number of the books in stock ahead of Tuesday’s release but there was very little interest shown by the buying public.
“I think that the weather does not help,” said a shop spokesman on Tuesday evening.
“We did not have a great deal of pre-interest and there have been so few people about today. It may pick up if the weather improves.”
