ELLIS. — Suddenly, at home, on 17th January, George Stuart, of Cheltenham, Gloucestershire (formerly of Keswick), treasured father of Jessica, Brodie, Giles and Duncan, adored grandfather of five grandchildren, uncle and great-uncle. Aged 90 years. A service of thanksgiving to be held Friday, 17th February, at Cheltenham Crematorium. HARRISON. — John. Clarewood, Lonsties. Passed away suddenly, on Friday, 20th January, great friend of Susan and uncle of John and Keith Harrison. Aged 93 years. The funeral service and interment will take place at St John’s Church, Keswick, on Thursday, 23rd February, at 2pm. Family flowers only. HOLME. — Glenda Mary. Died peacefully, on Tuesday, 31st January, 2023, at the Mary Hewetson Hospital, Keswick, much loved wife of Donald, beloved mum of Adrian and Paula, sister of Sandra, motherin-law of Gill and Peter and very proud grandma of Harry, George and Kate. The funeral service will take place at St John’s Church, Keswick, on Wednesday, 15th February, at 11am, followed by the interment at St John’s Church, Bassenthwaite (wearing black is not essential). Passed peacefully to his repose in Christ, on Saturday, 4th February, at home, in Keswick, with his wife, Jenny by his side, greatly beloved husband, brother, friend and priest. The Orthodox funeral service and interment will take place at Crosthwaite Parish Church, Keswick, on Tuesday, 28th February, at 12 noon. Family flowers only.
