A temporary road closure is to be put in place for four days on the B5289 Low Lorton, from its junction with the B5292, to its junction with the C2030 Brackenthwaite, to allow Cumberland Council to carry out highway work which is expected to start on February 26.
A diversion will be put in place via the unrestricted section of the B5289, Honister Pass, Borrowdale Road, Heads Road, A5271, High Hill, A66, Lamplugh Road, The Level, Station Road, Lorton Road and the B5292.
A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.
